Diabetics at Jamba Juice:

Eating good food at the right time can control your blood sugar, also stop you from craving wrong sort of food. Jamba Juice offers drinks in three separate sizes: 16, 24, and 32-ounce. You can choose the lowest serving size and cut down on sugars and calorie intake. If you're diabetic and concerned about the sugar intake, then you can opt for the smaller 9.5-ounce smoothies available for kids at Jamba Juice.

Foods to Avoid at Jamba Juice for Diabetics:

Jamba Juice is primarily known for its highly satisfying and nutritive smoothies and juices. Almost every smoothie and juice item on the Jamba Juice menu contains sugar. Diabetics are recommended to opt for smaller serving size while ordering at Jamba Juice. Also, avoid opting for creamy treats as all the smoothies offered in this category contain a load of sugars.

Keep the sugar content below 50g per meal at Jamba Juice and ensure that you don't follow it with a heavy meal. A small size regular smoothie is equivalent to a meal for everyone. Classic smoothies at Jamba Juice are also heavily loaded with sugars. Stay away from that section if you are a diabetic.

One part of my slow/masticating juicer broke and I'm waiting for the part to be mailed to me from Omega... (I own an Omega J8006)... so today i had to go to Jamba Juice to get a kale juice as i heard they have it there now. So they didn't have fresh oranges today... thankfully the cashier told me.. Coz I hate concentrate. So i substituted it with carrots. I asked if this is juice and not smoothie..and she said yes... I got it..and guess what it was! a very textured juice. Imagine something thrown into a Magic Bullet. Yes.. not even a NutriBullet.. a Magic Bullet. It was thick and grainy... A cold pressed juice shouldn't have been of that texture. The taste wasn't great. I had to suck it up as it was $5.49 with tax. Never again. I am praying hard my juicer part comes already. PS: I noticed their ingredients in their "juices" too.. although it's natural fruit.. they combine fruits that have a lot of sugar content in it... There's nothing better than juicing at home. and that's a FACT.

I don't think I've ever had to wait so long to have my order taken and then to wait for my drink to be made. Workers were slow and kind of standing around. Didn't seem like anyone was hustling during their rush hour. Both of the smoothies that I ordered had a very watery consistency. Also, as I was waiting for my drink to be made, I saw the girl working the register help compress and tie the trash then proceed to bag up someone's pretzel from the toaster without washing her hands.

I just went to this place for 28oz of freshly squeezed orange juice. The girl in the middle of preparing it decided to pour the left over that they collect in that dirty jar into the freshly squeezed one then her colleague came and told her that there is some in the fridge in a 28oz cup already, so she took that out and started to pure the juice she just squeeze and mixed with the left over into that cup. By that time I was really upset, I asked her "Are you serious? I don't want that, I want my money back." This is outrageous. You pay $6.49 for 28oz of orange juice that would cost me less than $1 if I had the time to go and buy the orange and squeeze it myself and then they pour whatever is in that dirty jar collecting the left over into it and also trying to give you the juice from the fridge that was juiced whoever knows when. Next time you go to this place (I won't ever that's for sure) watch out how they prepare your smoothie as you might end up having the dishwashing liquid mixed into it.

It's owned by Vernon Davis, full 5 stars! Alright, I'm biased for I'm a die hard Niners fan. Otherwise, its just like every other Jamba Juice you go to; meaning drinks are consistently good and service is A-okay!

I love Jamba Juice and that's why I have one almost everyday. The reason why I give this Jamba Juice a one star is because the employees never wash their hands. One time the girl was mopping and went strait to the juice bar and started making my wife's juice. This morning I come in and the employee is doing whatever she's doing in the back room, comes out scratching her head, takes my order and scratches her head again and go's strait to the Joyce bar without washing her hands, GROSS!! If anyone reads this and go's to this Jamba will know what I'm talking about. Please someone fix this.

  • R K.

Hit or miss here. More often than not they're out of ingredients or worse will make a drink and leave out ingredients not telling you. Twice I've come back and said the order didn't taste right to receive a response of "oh yeah, we're pit of that."

I find this place very convenient since its like a walking distance from my home. But anyways, I come here often right after my workout, or whenever I go for a walk at the park then Im always leaving this place with a healthy, delicious blend of smoothies and a smile on my face. Employees here are terrific, good customer service and always greeting their customers. Fresh and healthy choices is their motto.

My favorite Jamba Juice place of all. They always have the green match smoothie unlike other Jamba Juice places. It's also owned by Vernon Davis of the 49ers. I like that they always have some kind of fun raffle going and best thing of all, everyone is a winner!

  • Al S.

Service is awesome!!! And whoever said they're slow... that's in the past. Someone there is reading Yelp and fixing things up. Cat took the time to explain to me how some boosts come in a bigger scoop and will over-flow the cup. She went a step further to provide me with a solution. Kudos! I always appreciate personal touches in corporate stores, they separate the better stores from the average ones. One thing... the personal tribute wall is neat, but maybe set aside a space on the same wall for community postings/photos? I think that would be a great touch.

I used the Rivermark Jamba Juice this morning for an office event. They were super! Delivered right on time, they helped set up the 100 cups and helped by writing up all the ingredients in the different flavors. Olivia did an awesome job. I would definitely recommend. I will work with this team again!

Just fine if you hit it at the right time, but a disaster if you don't. Several times, I've seen this location get absolutely swarmed with parents with lots of little kids in tow (par for the course at Rivermark). If you're behind them, you might have to wait 20-30 minutes for your smoothie and have to wade through a chaotic mosh pit to get it. No bueno. But this location does have friendly staff and the smoothies are consistent.

  • Christina E.

Pros: The drinks are always delish! I love the strawberry wild and the orange dream machine! They are very fast and efficient! The employes that work here are always friendly and upbeat! If you sign up for their rewards program you can earn points and get discounted drinks. You can also take a survey (if it comes out with your receipt) and get a free drink. Cons: I'm pretty disappointed. This is the second time I've seen this happen. I walk in and notice this girl mopping the dirty floors. She stops in her tracks and starts making a smoothie. She didn't bother washing her hands. Um, that mop is probably filthy! When I saw that I actually walked out. I get grossed out by things like that. I walk in today to see that same girl cleaning up the bathrooms. She walks out with the trash in her hand, twirling it around her fingers. She sees what I order and then, without washing her hands starts to make it. Are you kidding me? You just put your hand on that scooper then put it back in the powder. You contaminated it!!! I'm so grossed out. Listen I know this may not bother some of you b/c maybe it's just a drink. Who cares, you might say. But if you're going to be making anything that I will be drinking/eating you should wash your hands. Especially if you were just in the bathrooms scrubbing toilets!

Giving two stars because of service. Over the past month it seems not enough staff for the number of customers. Waiting 30 min for your juice is unacceptable.

I order a Peach Perfection, substitute mango with real raspberries. I also order matcha green tea shots. Comically, the other day when I went and ordered one, an excited worker was telling me how much they love matcha green tea shots. Her's was probably the worst one I've ever had. Went back a day later and had another person make it and it was exactly like I expected it.

Outside of the parking situation, which is just a disaster for any of Rivermark's stores, I love this Jamba Juice! The staff are really nice and smoothies are made pretty quick.

I received an email with a $2 coupon for any small whole food nutrition smoothie and decided to get one! I couldn't print out the coupon because I was at work, so I asked the lady if she could just scan it from my phone, to my delight, she said she could. So, after ordering a carrot orange fusion smoothie and paying only $2 (SCORE!), I waited for about 3 minutes. They called my name, and I was presented with a Large, the young lady who served it said she accidentally made a little extra and so she passed it on to me. That's amazing service!!!

Just a thought for those who work around Santa Clara...Vernon Davis is cool, right? Like yeaaaah whooo! #85! The real ocho-cinco! Whut whut. But on the forreals, his Jamba Juice in Rivermark Plaza SUCKS! I've worked at Jamba Juice before, and you're supposed to have a 3 minute limit on making a dang drink. 1) They never get my order right. 2) It takes the girl...and it's always the same girl...like 4,000 repeats to even GET my order. Biatch, I ain't complicated! Caribbean Passion. Protein. Done. And if you know me, my ultimate pet peeve is REPEATING things! I hate repeating things and I hate making people have to repeat things. Annoying. 3) I just think Vernon Davis needs to school his Jamba crew on being more like him, cuz dey be droppin' da ball. This ain't no Kyle Williams #10 from two seasons ago Jamba Juice! No butterfingaz! 4) It sucks because they're just so damn convenient for right before work, but at the rate they go, I could drive to my job in Palo Alto and drive back and my drink still wouldn't be done. Yeesh. And that's my complaint of the day.

  • Melissa Y.

A solid Jamba. Friendly servers and good smoothies. Too bad parking in Rivermark Plaza is horrific during lunch, and only slightly better in the afternoon.

    (4)
  • Kate T.

Awesome place! My smoothie was delicious and blended perfectly. A great place to get a quick meal if you are in a hurry. When I came in there was a pretty long line. They went through the line quickly and gave everyone their smoothie in a very decent amount of time.

  • Sandy C.

Chewing is fun, but sometimes I'm so lazy that all I wanna do is sip. It's kinda pathetic but Jamba Juice makes it okay. And I'm glad I'm in California where "my smoothie for lunch" doesn't make people look at me weird...they have plenty of other reasons. This location is solid: service is fresh-faced friendly, patio seating is ample, and the efficiency/quality is pretty consistent (no big icy chunks nor wateriness). I go for the 16 oz size and "make it light" to cut down on the calories - the low cal base has a slightly chalky taste but that's the trade-off, I guess. I like the fruity, tropical stuff - without raspberries cuz I hate the little seeds. As for their fruit n veggie flavors, they're healthy so don't kid yourself - you're gonna get a whiff of veggies. If you want reward yourself or are just more of a milkshake fan, it's all about the Chocolate Moo'd or the Orange Dream Machine. And don't forget to get your free boost! They no longer make sure to ask you if you want one. And I kick myself when I forget. Then, I break down and get a cheddar-tomato twist because they're so toasty and spunky...and cuz, at the end of the day, it's better when my teeth have something to gnash on other than themselves.

Cant really say anything bad about the place. The first thing that hits you is the vibrant smell of the wheat grass mixed in with the fruits. It's like no other. Anyway, I ordered the Mango a go go. Took approximately 9-10 minutes to make. Not bad considering the moderate crowd at hand. Took a sip of my Mango a go go and it was pretty much the way I liked it. Cool and refreshing. What stops this Jamba Juice in its tracks is the parking. If only they had a huge parking lot that wasnt always full, I'd give this review a 5 star. Regardless, I'll always come back.

  • Chris L.

This Jamba Juice is one of the worst ever. My smoothies are usually watery and gross but by the time I realize it, I'm already in my car! The service is mediocre and the kids here do not know what they are doing. They don't sell any bread items 30 minutes before close because they have to clean their oven. They aren't apologetic about it either! I really hate it how the smoothies are so watery here. Everyone that works here needs to re-take Jamba Juice training class or something. There are a couple of times where one of the workers would tell the other to remake it or add more ice, which dilutes the taste. The one near AMC Mercado is 100x better but the parking is worse. I only come to this location if I have no other choice.

  • Harini S.

This is a fairly decent location. Friendly staff. Wait time is not too long. Juices taste good. There isn't really a lot to complain about (except for the sugar in the juices perhaps, but that's a jamba juice thing and I can't blame this location for it!) I recently tried their Apples & Greens smoothie, which is part of the new line of fruit and veggie smoothies. It was good, just too sugary (50g carbs and 40g sugar). If you want to get a more veggie dominated juice, maybe JJ is not the place to go. A juice bar where you can actually see the vegetable being juiced might be a better option! Overall, I'm happy with this location. And use it during emergencies when I need a nourishing snack (better fruit and veggies than a burger, right?)

  • J. H.

I work in the Plaza so I find my self at jamba quite often. I like their service. 99% of the time I don't have to wait for my smoothy because i just call in before I come. great Idea for all those people that complain about time. I am always greeted and my smoothies are always done right.

  • S H.

Stopped in at 1:10 to get a drink instead of a heavy lunch. I had a meeting at 1:30 so I figured I had plenty of time since work is just down the street. Eighteen minutes later I walk out with my Mango-a-gogo. My ten year old son could have made it faster smashing raw mango's against a rock. They are pretty unorganized and understaffed.

I've been here once yesterday and once today, thanks to the hot Santa Clara weather we're going to be having for the next few days. Yesterday,my boyfriend and I came in around 6:30pm. We were in there with only one other girl. The girl that came before us ordered two drinks. While we ordered two too. She got her drink 10 minutes after we came in and then we got our drink 20 minutes after we ordered. I don't think it takes 20 minutes to make 4 drinks. To be honest, the workers (there were 3) who were working behind the counter were VERY SLOW. Seriously,I saw the girl literally making one drink at a time. I go to SJSU,we have a Jamba Juice there and there are always many many students buying Jamba Juice, and I see that they make like 5 drink at a time. It's unacceptable making 4 drinks in 20 minutes! Seriously,be a little faster. If this Jamba Juice wasn't the only Jamba near my boyfriend's house we would definitely go to a different/faster one! They make good drinks though, when you say thick you get it thick. Other then that, blah!

I come here when I'm already in the plaza. I definitely do not make the trip to come to this location because of the parking and the sub-par experiences. Definitely recommend everyone to go to the Mercado Jamba Juice. Parking situation still kind of sucks but at least you get the better experience overall. I feel that the drinks are better over there too. Anyway, I ordered a Strawberry Alive. Watery as hell. C'mon dude, there's no reason why this sloppy excuse for a smoothie should be happening. This thing was definitely not the right consistency at all. I had to go back to work so I didn't have time to wait for their slow-ass service to remake my smoothie. And why does your one (count'em ONE) server ask me "how do you know this is your drink?" when I went to the counter to get my drink? Hmm... Let's see genius. There was one person before me and they just picked up their order and left. The only remaining smoothie must be mine because you haven't even taken the other two folks' orders yet (who just walked in after I ordered.) I would've given this place 3-stars but the idiot on duty really ruined it for me. Between the slow service, the crappy parking, the long lines, the strangely inquisitive customer service, I would not come here outside of convenience because I'm already there.

Yes... I'll admit to being weaseled into the conglomerate that sells 5 dollar smoothies that have the equivalent of my entire day's allowance of sugar. Carribean passion, easy on the ice please....

So you must be wondering how can a standard chain like Jamba Juice get such a low score from me? Well here's the scenario. I order a "fresh squeezed OJ" as I have been for the past 12 years of my life. Thinking I'm not watching, the guy takes the juice container and fills it halfway with OJ from the fridge then puts it under the machine and literally 3 oranges go through to top it off. I only had 10 seconds to decide to say something or not while he put a lid and straw in my drink, but like the quiet little Asian boy that I am I said nothing and drank my "not so fresh squeezed OJ". You probably can't even use the words "fresh squeezed" anywhere cause it just wasn't. So a few scenario rundowns ... a) I should have said something. I should have at least asked him if that was even fresh squeezed oj. The end result may have been much better than a 1 star review on Yelp and I might not be so unhappy. b) The OJ he got from the fridge was actually OJ that was JUST squeezed 30 seconds ago and I actually got fairly fresh squeezed OJ. Even if this happened the guy should have acknowledged this ... he didn't however so I don't think this was the case. c) The OJ he got from the fridge was actually concentrate OJ or the regular OJ they use for all the other smoothies. If this is the case then that's just plain wrong and they deserve my rating. At the end of the day I still would like to know what really happened. Either way I didn't get anything "fresh squeezed".

This particular Jamba location has great customer service, but they can't seem to blend the smoothies correctly. I almost always end up with ice chunks, and that makes for an annoying Jamba experience!

One sip of the many Jamba Juices that Jamba has to offer will make you want to Samba! If you're looking for a quick liquid lunch or an afternoon snack on a warm, balmy day I can always turn to Jamba Juice! I love their sweet and sour flavors. Who doesn't love sorbet with fruit and lemonade?! It's like a frozen Starburst treat! So yummy and refreshing. Get your Jamba on!

Hmmm... It's a Jamba Juice, and if you've eaten anything else than McD's, then you've probably been here. Meaning, that everyone has probably been to a Jamba Juice at some point in their life. With that being noted, I just wanted to put down the 5 stars for the service I recieved today. Came in, no one was there for a few minutes... but it turns out Sharlene (I think that's her name was stuck in the freezer). She was totally nice, totally helpful... I thought about something new besides the Peach Pleasure (I love to pleasure peaches...LOL) and thought about the Pomegranate Pick-Me-Up. She told me that Jamba Juice has a rule, if you try something new... don't like it, they will make you something else that you want or your regular. That sounds like a douche move, for those idiot customers... but that consoled me into trying the new one. And hey, I liked it. Was in and out of here in like 7 minutes and still had 5 minutes to spare on the way to work! Parking here, however gets worse as the day gets later and do expect to see the Real Housewives of Silicon Valley here (i.e. engineer's wives walking their kids).

I have been going to this Jamba Juice for over 6 years. They make amazingly good smoothies and the staff is great. Sharlene, the manager, is always friendly, remembers your name, and hires great folks, many who have been working there for years, which I think is a testament to Sharlene's management style. Great smoothies and great customer service, what more can you ask for!

I've always been a fan of Jamba Juice regardless of the service I receive at any of the locations. My go-to drink after a strenuous workout is the acai anti-oxidant with a side shot of detox wheatgrass. Mmm, my kind of post workout meal. The service here is up to par and all the workers here seem very nice and enthusiastic at least every time I've gone to this location. I did notice Jamba Juice's prices continue to rise like crazy. I remember when an original size smoothie was about $4 and now it's like double that price :(

Pomegranate pick me ups are oh so yummy! Can't vouch for their healthy factor but with a FREE vitamin boost it has to be better for you than the fast food joint one block away. Tips: 1. don't go at lunch; or if you do expect long lines and tough parking. 2. There must be some sort of online discount that you can use in store. All of the customers after me were flashing their iPhones at the clerk. Who can point us to the coupon?

I second Steve on the "Great Customer service" part...... The manager of this place is extremely friendly and she always smiles and greets me with a How you doin today? -- since i practically go there every other day :) the staff too is very courteous! The nice staff, just adds to the enrichening and (en)lightening experience of my Jamba dose :) Good job!!!!!!

Vey patient and polite staff. Parking is a hassle and hard to find. The drinks took a while to make, partly because it was busy and partly because some employees are faster and more experienced than others. One person was training and slowed down the line, some. But the Apples and Greens smoothie is really good, and I have not complaints about the quality of the drink!

    (3)
  • Chester M.

Great smoothies and juices with many different flavors. I like that there are many patio sets outside to enjoy your drink on a nice day. Parking can be a pain if you park right outside. Find parking in the back inside the parking structure which is covered. Great customer service here. I used a coupon to get a $2 juice and all they needed was to see it on my phone. They're into saving paper.

Jamba Juice is non-existent in Philadelphia, PA... but I wished someone would open one up. =\ That way, I could enjoy their Pomegranate Pick-Me-Up when it's sunny and blazin' hot. :)

  • Hoa Q.

This Jamba Juice is always clean and there's hardly ever a long wait. As for the product, I would rather pay a few cents more than to see my smoothie experience get shorted through sneaky cost-saving tactics. I usually have the original split into two so that I can share. Lately, I've noticed that the cups are either getting bigger or the quantity is getting smaller because only two-third of the cup size (if even that) is getting filled. The quality of the smoothies have also diminished. The smoothies are watery and seem to taste more and more processed than fresh.

  • Hendrick L.

I love the location, so that adds a star for me. Parking has gotten though lately, and they're opening apartments which can make this whole plaza a nightmare. Overall, it's pretty much like any other Jamba I've been to. Service is fine, and the drinks are just as good as any other Jamba. I took away one star because I saw rotten, moldy oranges on display - this is the fresh fruit they they display in crates on their shelves. I really hope they didn't use these for orange juice. Needless to say, I haven't gone back since.

Fruit, Yogurt/Sorbet, Juice and Ice in a Blender ... The recipe is simple and the smoothies are D-LISH! You choose Jamba Juice for it's smoothies, but you return because of it's employees. Rivermark Jamba Juice has the best Jamba Juice staff I've ever discovered. They're welcoming, friendly and pleasant (which can't be said about every Jamba Juice). If you become a regular, the experience just gets better (which I didn't think was possible). I don't know how many times I walked through the door, waited in a relatively long line, only to say hi and nothing more as I stepped up to the register as they merely took my jamba card to ring up and handed me my smoothie before I even got my jamba card and receipt back! And if for some reason I ever had to wait, they felt bad and offered me a free one on my next visit. Who wouldn't want to return after being treated like that!!! Next time you're in Rivermark Plaza - Stop in Jamba Juice, ask for Sharlene the General Manager and tell her DJ sent you! (And please tell her I said "Hi!" too =)

I've only been here twice. My two favorites over here are the Caribbean Passion and the Orange Dream Machine, which is like a 50/50 bar. The service was just okay on both occasions, but parking can be a nightmare at times.

The guys I have no problem with, they pay attention and listen to what you want. However, the women here....tragic. One time I went in, and this woman made me WAIT until she finished her 10 minute conversation with a previous customer about her night at the club. I really felt hungry and waiting only made me more cranky. I hated it! None the less, my drink came out all icey! What a B!@#! Gosh, if this happens again I'm going to ask for their superior on the spot! And I mean it.

    (3)
  • Leena M.

The people who work here are very fast and are friendly enough for a lunchtime jamba fix. I love the mango mantra -- only about 220 calories, but who's counting :)

    (3)
  • Joanne E.

I go to this one only because its right around the corner, but if there was another one closely located I probably would go to a different one. There are times when the workers are okay and on speed....and there are times when they decide to take 10 days to make one drink. Also, customer service kinda sucks. I ordered a Matcha Green Tea Blast and for some odd reason it was a bit sour. If anyone has had this drink it should be fairly sweet. I brought it back and a girl said it was supposed to be that way. I asked for a new one, but she gave me a hard time about it. I know how they taste thats the only smoothie I get there.

  • Brian W.

I often try to compare this location to the one at Mercado. They are pretty dead even. Sometimes however, the people at this one can be rude.

You can get a drink pretty fast here. The workers are nice. They keep this place clean. Just a FYI good luck finding parking during lunch this plaza is real small... but yeah 5 STARS!

  • T D.

Great customer service! One of the employees helped me go over their "secret menu" and what drinks were good. Very helpful, very friendly and fast. Got my drink and was out the door in no time! I will be coming more often especially since it's literally a thiry second drive from my house.

Like everyone else I call this Jamba Juice 486. (WTF?) Anyway, I asked what the calorie difference was between the jamba light smoothies and the smoothies with fruit only, and that seemed to befuddle e the counter person so I abandoned that question. My smoothie turned out good, with the paper on the straw torn off before my eyes.

The place speaks for itself. Freshly squeezed fruit/vegetables juices served with a smile. :) The only complaint with this joint is that the fresh juices are sometimes way too bitter, relative to the other Jamba Juice centers.

I love jambs juice but this place was horrible! All four drinks were off. We got two juice and two smoothie. The juices were water down and the smoothie taste like baby food? The cashier was nice tho

We went in on 4th of July for some BOGO drinks. I really appreciate the moments when you go into a place and they not only have good customer service, but just genuine moments with people. Roma helped us, and she was awesome. As per usual, I asked her to suggest my drink. Told her I liked mangos and something else. She made me a Strawberry Surfrider with pineapples, mangos, and lemonade added in. IT WAS SO DELICIOUS. Probably the best Jamba I've ever had, and definitely appreciate the personalization.

I come here after my workout once a week and they are always very disorganized.. Confused with orders ! I mean it okay if it happens once in a while but no it's always the case here!!! Pple behind the counter are constantly looking at each other and blaming each other for the confusion.. It's not that hard to read orders in correct order!! Someone needs to stand up an get this mess sorted out once for all!!

    (2)
  • Joyanto R.

Solid drinks, poor customer service. Maybe I am unlucky, but it seems like every time I visit this location they are out of a certain ingredient and need to modify and make substitutes for the drink. This last time they were out of oranges. How can a Jamba Juice be out of oranges? It is like Starbucks not having milk. Anyway, I chose a substitute drink which took 15 mins to make with no-one else in the store. The employees said that they needed to clean the machines first before preparing the drink. As usual, the drink was good but I am not sure if it was worth 20 mins wasn't the drink that I originally selected.

  • Kate S.

Smoothies and juices here are disgusting. My smoothie was too watery and my juice didnt have enough greens. Never coming back to this location again.

  • Mandar B.

I love Jamba Juice, but this location is the worst of all. Most of the time they are out of ingredients, or their machines are not working or "We accept cash only". Employee's behind the counter are I will say are RUDE. They won't mind throwing away extra juice, rather than giving it to customer. Well also, they many times do not accept coupons. Just flat rightly say NO. The other day, I had "Jamba Insider points". When the guy was billing me, I entered my info in system. And he was like sorry you are too late to enter, and you can't get the extra shot of protein you are asking for. Next time please be quick. Really ? Come on. I was the only customer in shop. I don't know what was the hurry for him? The location is great, please improve customer interaction.

Perfect spot for when I need a green juice or acai bowl before or after my workouts. This spot is right next to both of my gyms!!! So convenient, why not? It's a much better choice than a lot of other places I could have gone to. The acai bowl is the best I've tried in California so far... Most places have either made it too watery, no flavor, and just not good. It's not the same as Hawaii's but it'll do. : ) Oh and this specific locations is owned by 49ers player, Vernon Davis! I've also seen his location give back to the community by hosting fundraisers at our local church. I like businesses who support their community and give back, especially when they have the means to do so!

Another childhood staple. I used to love coming here with my buddies just to kill some time. I felt awesome because even though this stuff was hella expensive, it was healthy for you! FAST FORWARD MANY YEARS: Alright, that was a total marketing lie. These smoothies are not good for you at all. The sheer amount of sugar in each serving can give you diabetes after like a week. Your body is a temple? More like your body is a tribute to insulin. Don't believe their lies! One cool fact about this specific Jamba Juice though: this is owned by VERNON DAVIS!! That's right. The local 49ers hero owns this fine establishment. Smart business choice, sir. Now that the Niners are in Santa Clara, more fans than ever will flock out here to support. Good move! TIP: Order a small cup, but ask them to put it in a big cup. Their blender sizes allow them to only make a big cup's worth. So you end up getting more smoothie for less money!

So I come in here for a healthy smoothie, thinking.. I've lived here for 2 years and this is my first time in this Jamba Juice...this will be my last as well. The guy that helped me at the register was that forgettable and that mundane. Okay, I lie..he wasn't forgettable..i just want to forget him. I come in there for an after workout smoothie..order what i wanted and opted to get the soy protein..after he rings me up, I realize oh darn they had whey protein...so I ask them to change it. Mind you this is before the drink even got started. Guess it's a big deal to scoop the powder to the right instead of the left, cause he got frustrated, asked if it was "okay to do this" to his coworker..who in all honestly looked at him like he was an idiot. She told him it was okay since the powders cost the same.. So he proceeds to hand my my finished drink, and say "here". I was tempted to say "here" and flip him the bird..but i just got out of crosspit and my fingers were too tired to waste on him.

  • Kim N.

This aint no normal JJ, This is Vernon Davis' JJ! I dont think that changed a damn thing but I just like saying that. Damn they be outta peaches. So a mango kids size gets you less sugar and quantity in return for a cool cup with a personified fruit that looks like they're on drugs. Good score....

This Jamba Juice at Rivermark Plaza has gone downhill recently. Last week, I visited for the first time in months. I was encouraged to see new menu items for fresh juices with whole foods boosts. They are expensive ($6.25 for 16 ounces), but I decided to try one. I ordered Tropical Greens. After I had been waiting around for a few minutes, the store manager told me that they were missing one of the ingredients for the drink because the refrigerator had broken down. She gave me a partial refund and I was able to order a different drink. It was decent. Then today I decided to stop by the store again. I ordered Tropical Greens. The drink came up over four ounces short in the 12 ounce cup. When I pointed this out, I was not given any refund. Also, the drink itself did not taste fresh. If you're going to sell a premium fresh juice, please make sure you are using fresh ingredients and filling the cup to the brim. I won't be back to this store for a while. And when I do, I won't be ordering from the premium fresh juice menu!

In the words of the Black Mamba, " I would be disrespecting Lebron if I didn't compete and go hard at him." So to Jamba and Mr. Davis I have all the respect in the world thus I am giving a more critical review to essentially make y'all a better store. As a former Jamba employee from the Evergreen Valley Store, here is my 85 cents. Ambiance: * Parking | The plaza is huge and a lot of parking but it is still generally busy. Depending on the hour you'll either find parking pretty easy or not. * Seating | Probably seating for 8 people but there is seating outside as well. * Feels | Your typical happy vibrant store with the upbeat pop jamba music playlist. What makes this different from other Jamba stores is the very brief yet big honorary wall of Vernon Davis which was pretty cool and inspiring. Food: * Apples & Greens | I definitely expected a bitter taste but this was sweet (which I liked). The smoothie was well blended. Customer Service: * Based on Jamba standards generally all customers were greeted, if they're busy with a long line then that's understandable however there was only one person ahead of me. Despite not being greeted I did get my order on a timely fashion which was good. Overall: * 3 solid stars. Since this was a different store from the rest I expected something a little more different like a signature smoothie from Mr. Davis himself! Other than that, my experience was A-OK but I definitely believe there is much more room for improvement. Advice: * Not much of a sit down place nor a place to study but feel free to sit around the plaza, go to the library, or walk around the park!

Jamba Juice in general is just okay in my opinion. Most of their smoothies aren't very healthy and I'm not a fan of their healthy juices. I bought a Groupon for their energy bowls with the intention of using it for the acai bowls, but I think their acai bowls are very disappointing. So instead, I've been using the remainder of my Groupon on their Greek yogurt bowls, which are good but nothing special and very easy to make at home. This is probably the only Jamba Juice so far where I've run into multiple problems just trying to use my Groupon for a simple greek yogurt bowl. 1. The cashier said I couldn't use my Groupon because it's for energy bowls, not greek yogurt bowls, even though on their menu, greek yogurt bowls are under the energy bowl category. I had to tell her that other Jamba Juice locations have accepted my Groupons 2. My Groupon was for 16oz bowls and she said that there are only 12oz greek yogurt bowls on the menu so she couldn't give me a 16oz bowl. Felt a little cheated, but I let that slide even though other locations gave me 16oz bowls with no problem whatsoever. 3. I asked for just strawberries and blueberries with my greek yogurt and she wanted to charge me extra for the blueberries. Again, no other location has done that. But I didn't bother with that either and asked for just strawberries. 4. They messed up my simple order and added granola and honey even though I asked for just strawberries. But at least they apologized and remade my bowl. Overall, not the best Jamba service in comparison to other locations.

First time I ever visited a jumba juice. Had a very large selection to pick from. I got the acai bowl my first one ever actually and it was pretty good and it filled me up to my surprise but it lacked the taste I was looking for.

Firstly, Jamba is overpriced, oversweetened juice so I wasn't thrilled about going there to begin with. But I receive a free smoothie promo in the mail and head over before the 11am cut off. I wait in line for over 30 minutes. There is a long line both in front and behind me. I finally get to the counter and they then choose to communicate that I would be the cut off for the promo. Confused puppet at register: "He" said you would be the cut off. Equally confused looking "he": Yea, I just decided it. Confused puppet at register: Yea, sorry. Crowd control 101 if you don't want your potential customers to get pissed: Before said potential customer waits in line for over 30 minutes when she has in fact done everything right and got to the store before the 11am cut off, scan the crowd and communicate that such and such person would be the cut off so as to not make her wait for nothing. Respect the customer if you want to run a legit business. Seems like a simple concept to me. Bottom line: Jamba doesn't care about its customers.

Came here during a hot summer's day for a BOGO deal. The place was not packed and got to order quickly. Ordered the classic strawberry wild because I haven't had in in forever and my girlfriend asked the cashier for her recommendation. The cashier was more than happy to give her suggestion which was: Strawberry Surfrider w/ Pineapples and Mangos added. She asked me what my name was for the order and I said "I-G-G-Y" and she said "SING IT!" And we all had a laugh because I unintentionally sang the Iggy Azlea song with the same rhythm without trying. Side note: Darn you Iggy Azlea for stealing my name! I had it first! The drinks were GREAT! The one the cashier picked out for my girlfriend was way more delicious than mines, so I got a bit jealous x[. Next time I know what I want! Overall a very solid Jamba Juice. I accidentally knocked over the wet floor sign on the way out...sorry x\!

I normally hate chains, but this place is different. You don't get too many independent smoothie shops and when you do find one they're more interested in making your smoothie taste like a dessert than fruit. These guys do it right. I like to get a 16oz light and just graze on over the course of the morning. Surprisingly, it keeps my monster appetite satiated until lunch - OK, I may sneak in a protein bar in between sips, but that's still pretty good. The staff is always polite and friendly no matter the location; I don't know if they're overpaid, or if management's slipping them happy pills, but I've never had a grumpy encounter at any Jamba Juice location. Either way this place is swell. P.S. I've never tried anything else there except their smoothies, so I can't comment on the rest of their menu.

Apparently this is Vernon Davis' (of the 49ers) Jamba Juice? At least it says that on the sign. Anyways, I just went here during the lunch hour to grab an Acai Super Antioxidant smoothie (my favorite besides the Strawberry Surf-rider.) The staff were all really, really nice, but it was pretty dang slow. There were only about 5 people in the place, and there were 5 Jamba Juice workers. Somehow it took almost 15 min to get the juice though? Not sure what the deal was, but anyways.. it was a good juice. Maybe Vernon needs to come in and give the team a pep talk on how to make speedy smoothies.
